Winter 2010 Registration and Grading Day

 

A combined Registration and Grading day for the coming winter season will be held from 10:30 to 6.00 pm at Koonung Secondary College on Sunday 21st February 2010. New players very welcome.

A registration form can be lodged with the Club’s registrar on the day.

You will also see on the registration form that the Club is requesting families to nominate various ways in which they can help with the running of the club. Unfortunately we just do not have enough helpers and the Club really does need more people to come forward. Most of the tasks that we are seeking help with will only take an hour or two each season if the Club receives enough volunteer support.

We need in particular venue openers, people to help on the weekly BBQ, people to man the doors at the Club’s venues during finals, team managers and of course coaches. Please feel free to contact a Committee member if you wish to discuss what is involved with each role.

As registration and grading is a very important process in planning for the coming season, the Club asks that all players in the age groups listed below attend.

If the player cannot attend or will not be playing in the coming season, please contact the club via the club e-mail on koonung@hotmail.com 

Note: - Members of the coaching committee will be also attending games prior to the end of the season for the purpose of grading.

All players undertaking Grading are requested to wear their Koonung singlet, bring a drink bottle AND a basketball.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE A BBQ OPERATING SO PLEASE SUPPORT OUR CLUB IN RAISING FUNDS FOR A NEW STADIUM!

 

For all age groups the cut off date is 31st December 2009.  So if your child was 10 at that date they will play Under 11, even if they have turned 11 since then.
